Hotline

Wellspring advocates are available to those that need us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year via our hotline, 518-584-8188. The hotline is a “gateway” to our services. During a hotline call we can:

• Provide information and education about any person’s rights and options related to experiencing domestic violence or sexual assault. People don’t have to disclose very much to us to get this information. Everyone has the right to know their options.
• Address immediate crisis such as accessing safe, emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence or assistance after a sexual assault. 
• Support the emotional well-being of anyone who has experienced harm due to domestic violence or sexual assault. This includes talking with the friends, family, or loved ones of someone who experienced abuse.
• Engage people in additional services such as advocacy & case management; assistance with navigating the legal system including assistance with petitioning family court for an order of protection or help with reporting incidents to the police; and assistance with obtaining safe and affordable housing. 

Wellspring’s hotline is not only availble to people in crisis, our advocates are here to support and assist people at any stage of their experience with relationship and sexual abuse.
