“She Said” Screening for Community Partners

“She Said” Screening for Community Partners

Wellspring is proud to partner with Zonta of Saratoga County, Soroptimist International of Saratoga County, the Junior League of Schenectady and Saratoga County, and Men With Wellspring to present a free screening of the film She Said for our community partners on Monday, March 13th.

She Said is a film based on the book of the same name by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, the two NY Times investigative reporters who brought the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment and sexual assault cases into the light. For decades, Weinstein had been abusing his position of power to victimize young women, and the system not only was aware, but paid to cover it up and to silence victims.

Because of Twohey and Kantor’s work, Weinstein was prosecuted, convicted and is serving time in prison

This special film screening is free of charge and is one of several special programs Wellspring has scheduled in advance of Megan Twohey’s appearance at Skidmore on April 10th.

Space is limited! Reserve your spot below.
