Session 2: Finances – April 14th
94-99% of domestic violence victims experience financial abuse making it nearly impossible to survive independently especially if they have to support a family.
Wellspring can help: We host a financial literacy program in partnership with Soroptimist called Project Hope & Power to discuss money management and savings. Our Shoppe is also available to clients in the event they need basic essentials or food each week to offset expenses.
Join us to discuss examples from the book, show, and real life that highlight why financial abuse can prevent victims from leaving.
