International Women’s Day is coming up on Wednesday, March 8th – and we’re shining a light on women’s rights issues by hosting an item drive and Volunteer Day at Wellspring!
Women and girls are disproportionately impacted by intimate partner violence. Over the next 6 weeks, help us to support those fleeing abusive situations in our community by collecting needed items to help our clients on their journey to safety.
How Can I Contribute?
- Check out our printable flyer and printable wishlist!
- Start collecting – and get creative! Encourage your favorite local business to put out a flyer and collection box, organize and announce your collection efforts on social media, get your friends and family involved – the sky’s the limit!
- Drop off your collected items at Wellspring on Wednesday, March 8th between 8a-5p.
And that’s it! Every item donated will directly support those impacted by relationship abuse.
