Coaches

In 2016, Wellspring made a commitment to bring Coaching Boys Into Men® (CBIM) into every school in our community. CBIM is a violence prevention program created by Futures Without Violence for athletic coaches and is designed to inspire coaches to teach their young male athletes about the importance of respect for themselves, others, and particularly women and girls.

In 2017, Wellspring partnered with Ballston Spa High School and Shenendehowa High School to integrate CBIM into their athletic team programming. The results have been inspiring. View this video to learn more.

In 2018, we expanded the reach of coaches by implementing Athletes as Leaders™ (AAL) which is a program for high school athletes on girls’ sports teams. The program aims to empower female-identified youth to take an active role in promoting healthy relationships and ending sexual violence.

Both CBIM and AAL are positively transforming the way that teens think about themselves, their peers, and their community. Be part of this transformation.
